What you enjoy most about your job:

I have a real passion for aiding and promoting health & fitness for the benefit of others. Being a part of changing people’s lives for the better and witnessing tangible, lasting results is where my passion lies.

Your experience:

I have been working within the industry for over 15 years as a fitness professional, developing from a personal trainer, through to more specific roles with clients that need support and rehabilitation.

As well as having an established freelance Personal Training/Sports Therapy career, I have worked in other positions with the local authorities and supporting communities.

Outside of these roles, I continue to offer personal training and rehabilitation services to a wide variety of clients – from professional athletes through to those with physical and mental disabilities.

I also have a great interest in aiding and promoting health and fitness for the benefit of the community and have organised several charity sports events – these have included charity bootcamps, running events and the St Albans Aquathlon.

Currently, I work as a Get Active Specialist for the Borough of Broxbourne Council.

How you like to keep active:

I enjoy many forms of sport and physical activity, including cycling, weight training, football and athletics – in particular sprints and hurdles for which I have won awards. I am a regular participant at Athletic events, Rowthlons and Gymathlons.
